ABOUT DAWN
CPC, RYT-500, TCTSY-F
Dawn (she/her) is a trauma-informed practitioner who holds space for people to be and become. She welcomes each person as they are and grounds her work as a life coach, yoga facilitator, and somatic practitioner in principles of choice, compassion, and empowerment. As a collaborative partner, she strives to create a supportive, brave space for others to explore self-inquiry and embodied practice on their own terms.
Dawn integrates movement, mindfulness, and somatic and cognitive approaches to support her clients in living with presence, passion, and purpose. She primarily works with individuals looking to live more consciously and consistently in their bodies. She specializes in supporting individuals healing from trauma and/or chronic pain.
Dawn also delivers emotional intelligence and teambuilding trainings for local Fortune 50 companies and leadership development programs. She has extensive experience leading social impact initiatives and employee community engagement programs and draws frequently on her decade of experience in the corporate world, which includes time spent in aerospace engineering and production environments.
Dawn is a cisgendered white woman with lived experience of chronic pain. She strives to understand her own privilege and acknowledges that systemic, internalized, and interpersonal systems of oppression are fundamental drivers of trauma. She works from a place of cultural humility to understand and affirm the unique experiences, strengths, and needs of individuals from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Dawn aspires to risk joy every day. A lover of mountains and movement, she can be found running, skiing, mountaineering, or exploring shapes on her mat as often as time allows. She lives and practices on Coast Salish and Snohomish land, and her offerings are currently available online over Zoom.
